  • What is PLATE?

    First things first: PLATE is a mobile app that promotes local bar and restaurant specials and deals. Our app operates on a real-time, location-based system, which simply means that when a user opens PLATE, the deals and specials that they see are happening at that moment, and the deals at the top of the list are closest to them and the deals at the bottom are farther away from them.

    As a bar or restaurant owner, we wanted you to be able to post deals and specials at any time, day or night, so we developed another app called “PLATE For Business” which allows you to add and alter your deals from wherever you are!

  • How many specials/deals can I run at a time?

    In an effort to prevent an over-crowding of our app, businesses are only allowed to have ONE “Food” deal/special and ONE “Drink” deal/special running at any given moment in time. However, there is no limit to how many different deals you can run throughout the course of a day/week/month/year; again, the only restriction is that ONE Food and/or Drink deal is visible on the user’s app at any given moment in time.

  • So, I can run WHATEVER Food or Drink Special I want?

    Yep, pretty much! As long as it’s nothing illegal or against our Policy, then you can run any Food or Drink-related deal or special you desire. We do reserve the right to monitor/remove any app content that we deem to be breaking our policy or local/federal laws.

  • Are there any contracts that I have to sign?

    NO CONTRACT! We operate on a month-to-month system, which means that you can activate and deactivate your account at any time. Simply pay your monthly fee and enjoy 30 days of posting deals and specials to the fastest growing bar and restaurant app in your city!

  • How do I Ioad my Specials/Deals onto PLATE?

    Quite easily. Using your PLATE For Business app, you simply “Create A Deal” - add a Picture, Price and Description of your items, set the time and date you wish for the deal to be active on PLATE, hit “Save Changes”, and that’s it!

  • Can I have multiple members of my staff manage my account?

    Yes, you can! As long as you provide them with your Login credentials, you can give as many (or as few) members of your team access to post and edit Deals/Specials on PLATE!

  • What if I don’t see my city listed as an area where your app is active?

    We’re always looking for an opportunity to bring our app to another city, so please DROP US A LINE (link to CONTACT US form) and let’s talk!

  • Do my deals/specials need to be “exclusive”, or only available through your app?

    While we recommend that our partnering businesses create specials and deals specifically for PLATE, we understand that some businesses can be a little more flexible than others in reference to inventory, supply, and pricing. For that reason, you’re more than welcome to post your normal specials and happy hours on PLATE!

  • Will you provide me with feedback on how my specials and deals are performing?

    Absolutely! We know that numbers are key, especially in the bar and restaurant industry, so inside of your account, we give you metrics like Views, Opens and Claims, in an effort to help you create more effective deals and specials that customers will actually convert on!

  • Can you help me create better deals and specials for my restaurant/bar?
